Food was great as expected. Banchan included fried fish, kimchi, marinated squid, seaweed and cucumbers.
Service was lacking. Restaurant was huge, however there was no staff at the walkway area. It was hard to get the staff’s attention.
Ordered the set meal and only after ordering then we realized that the soup was of a smaller portion as compared to the individual soup order. Personally I feel that it is important to state it in the menu.
Tofu soup was good. The tofu was soft and fresh.
Bbq short ribs was not so good, meat is kinda tough.
The grilled chicken was so so.
The combo meal was quite a lot, good for sharing.
Although 6 of us shared 3 combos and some side dishes, we paid about $40 per person
They gave free yogurt drinks after meal.
Reached there around 8pm. It was not crowded at this time, and hence atmosphere was perfect. Peak hours may be different as it is a huge restaurant.
Delicious food.
Kimchi pancake is a must try. Very crispy. Portion is huge to be considered as a starter.
Refillable small dishes except for the yellowtail fish which is 1 for each dinèr.
Service is so so. Staff are not as friendly and attentive.
Overall, i would recommend this restaurant. I personally will go again for its good food.
Food was reasonably priced. I had the fried cockles and spicy beef tofu stew set at $27.90. Came with cold tea, side dishes and a small bottle of yogurt drink (to take it on your way out, near the cashier). The soup was thick, more like gravy. Request for sesame oil to go with the cockles and rice. That combination was yummy.
Went there for dinner with gf, it was packed with patrons. We left our contact number and waited for their call; took about 25-30 mins.
We ordered a combo meal, comes with a main and a soup. Additionally, we ordered another seafood pancake. Two of us, we actually over-ordered but we managed to finish up our food.
The main we ordered was Grilled chicken (spicy), the chicken was burnt and taste burnt. Didnt really like this dish
For soup, we ordered the assorted soontofu, the soup was spicy though we asked for mild. And it was sandy and "fishy" smell probably due to the seafood. The tofu was silky smooth and good though.
Seafood pancake was nice and crispy.
The meal was also served few side dishes: pickled cucumber, kimchi, seaweed, spicy jellyfish and the complementary fried fish was nice.. I actually ate up the whole fish together with the bones, my gf was shocked.
They also served a pot of corn tea for $1 per pax.
Probably it was too crowded that night..the aircon was not strong enough.. we were sweating while we were eating our food halfway.
The food is quite authentic and I enjoyed the kimchi seafood soup, fish, pancakes, and grilled chicken. The beef was a little tough but ok on the whole. Enjoyed the atmosphere, and don't mind coming back another time.
Good variety of spicy soups here. I had the beef intestine sundubu, which was a first for me - really flavourful. I liked that the rice came in a stone pot, such that it was always warm and crusted at the sides. Banchan was minimal but decent.
First time having a meal here. Food was good. Toufu a bit on the salty side. Flavour was there. Interesting concept. . Lunch was too busy, staff couldn't help us to take a group photo, pity. Will try again to order other dishes
